Large Pink Mallow …

… on Market Street, around the corner at the bottom of our street. They’re in the midst of a large group of flowering bushes, which are the only ones for many blocks.

Today was the first time we noticed these, and unfortunately we don’t know what they are. This has been a wonderful summer for flowers—they clearly like heat, humidity and rain!
