Much of our day was devoted to tennis- it was the women’s and men’s finals in the Cincinnati Open. Coco Gauff won the women’s championship, defeating Karolina Muchova in 2 sets. For 19 year old Gauff, it was the biggest win of her career.

The men’s final was a 3 set, 3 1/2 hour battle between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. Djokovic prevailed in the 3rd set tie-break.
