Old gas works

Trisharooni often mentions the old gas works. I thought of her when I walked around a different way today. It was a bit warmer today but still cold out.

I’m ploughing slowly through my latest book. It is taking ages as it is so depressing. Easy to read and interesting but so sad. I only read about one paragraph yesterday then found something nicer to do. It’s Life in a Jar by Jack Mayer about Irena Sendler rescuing Jewish children in Warsaw. During the rationing in 1940 the Jews only got 184 calories per day. They were forced to work hard labour for 12 hours a day. Cruelty is something I don’t tolerate.
