Hello Mr Bullfinch

There I was, reading outside for a while before The Lionesses spring into action, and Merlin, who was beside me on the bench, heard “the Eurasian Bullfinch.”

I looked up and he was posing.

I’m nervous about the game. Those Spanish girls are brave, skilled and courageous. The English media don’t quite seem realistic.

To win would be magnificent but whatever happens, I’m so proud of The Lionesses for what they have achieved and how they have transformed opportunities for girls in sport.
