Today’s principal events have been:
•making a banana and raspberry smoothie, which counts as ambitious cooking based on my recent efforts
•adding chocolate powder to my filter coffee and realising this isn’t how mocha is made
•receiving staccato renditions of both Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Happy Birthday over video from little Georgia, even though she’s three months early with the well wishes
•witnessing this surprisingly profane tuk tuk design at Coco Beach, in a place where swearing is normally taboo
