Oslo, Norway

We are in Oslo today and as it is a short visit from 11am till 5.30pm, we decided to concentrate on The Munch Museum and surrounding area. The museum is wonderful and even going at a fast pace we were there for hours. I didn't know much of his work, but liked it all. My favourite is actually the dog in the collage top right!
There are many versions of the famous "The Scream", in the collection. Three are on display in a darkened room within the gallery and every 30 mins, a different one is revealed. There is much excitement with people jostling for the prime photo opportunity!
Outside the building there is a huge Tracy Emin sculpture, The Mother. The work was selected after a competition in 2018 and installed in 2022.

A great first visit to Oslo, it would be great to come back another time and explore the city further.
