Smoky

Jeez, we just get rid of the heat and now the smoke moves in. There's smoke from fires in Canada and eastern Washington. It's supposed to get a bit better tomorrow. 

The grandchildren came over with my son midday and we ended up just playing indoors, rather than getting in the pool. Probably best, given the air quality. My grandson is coming to spend the night on Tuesday, and granddaughter on Friday. They're so much easier without the other one. But that's a lot of overnight grandchildren time! I'll need a vacation by Saturday ;-)

The dahlia in my courtyard garden is just blooming again - I really do love this color!
