Blanes, Day 11

Thank you Blanes for a lovely 10 nights! We’ll be back! And of course, we wish we had longer this time round

Today we had coffee in our room (thank you little travel kettle - good purchase. We now have two!) and pain au chocolat and coffee in the big open plan airy area downstairs and read our books for a bit. Packed up, and left our trolley bags in left luggage with the hotel. The staff in the hotel work hard, long hours, and we for one, appreciate it. A walk along to The Shack for a pre-lunch drink and to say thank you and cheerio to them. Then across the road to Cal Tony for lunch and to say our thank yous and ‘adioses’ to them (where I took the shot of Bb).

Back to Barcelona now by train, 4.50 euros, and a planned work-light rest of August.
