Thank You Blanes!

Can’t believe we’re at the end of our stay here. Blanes has sneaked into our hearts. In 2022 we stayed just six days, combining it with Aix-en-Provence. In 2023 we decided to stay here for 11 nights. This year, we’ve been here for 17 nights. Haha, we’ll be moving here next!

It’s funny that Blanes was the first weekend sortie that we made from Barcelona, camping, in 1991, in our 2CV, just a few months after arriving, and were amazed that we still had sun in October! We stayed very close to our campsite and honestly didn’t get to know Blanes at all.

We then fell in love with Cadaqués, which will always have a very special place always in our hearts, but it’s a very busy place in August. Blanes is a bit more Spanish, even in high season and being a bit bigger, it seems less busy overall.

We’re very grateful that we can spend this time here. We’ve said that we’d love to come back for a weekend in October. Watch this space.
