Rudbeckia
A perfect day for washing. We had the first lot out before breakfast and have got it all dry and in, some ironed, except for two cardigans I washed later that are still drying nicely on the line,
The garden isn’t looking too bad at all though the 20+ white Agapanthus have had their heads well battered down.
There are ripe tomatoes at last so no need to buy any.
These Rudbeckia are not what I was expecting, I had a very tall clump here last year and thought I’d bought the same. These are shorter and haven’t needed the support that we left in place but I do like them. Always interesting to see what comes up!
No singing today so we were about to head off to do some shopping mid morning when Chris remembered he was helping with a funeral at 12.00. So we’ve just got back.
Some lovely heather to be seen crossing Bingley Moor but as usual there is no where easy to stop. Must try for a blip of it soon.
