Garden Rescue,
Back to Pilates this morning and then lunch at the garden centre where a whole load of bus pass walkers, who hadn’t taken a bus, piled in!
The cafe is going to be shut for a week or two for refurbishment but as we don’t have a Pilates session next week we’ll just have to find somewhere else for lunch the week after.
After my friend had gone I went to have a closer look at the rain damage on my large Agapanthus plant. Nearly all the flowers were down so I decided to pick those nearest to the ground and bring them in. 10 blooms in the vase and 13 left on the plant.
May as well enjoy them for a few days inside even if they don’t last long.
Last night Chris made a salad using our first tomatoes of the season. On Sunday Jude picked her yellow ones and enjoyed them with her lunch in fact that’s all she wanted to eat! Lovely to eat your own.
