A temporary bed of annuals

There was a caster oil shrub here until the spring. It came with the garden when we moved in in 2000. While Susan decides what she wants here she planted it up with annuals she’d grown this spring. They’ve all grown amazingly well in a shady position.

A morning of gardening for me alongside making a tomato sauce and preparing apples for the dehydrator. Susan was with her mum for the morning.

A walk occupied the time after lunch the it was time to get dinner while Susan attended to watering pots and containers .
