The weather was hot and humid today so we stayed close to the camper. Clouds and tall trees blocked most of the sun though. Hubby took an early five mile ride on the biking trail while I cleaned up after breakfast. Otherwise, we set behind our awning sun shade and prayed, read, fooled with our phones, and napped. Millie spent part of the day in her outside play area and the rest in air conditioning comfort. Kim gave us a really nice floor fan. It has kept our outside area very comfortable all day. I also took many photos of this silly young squirrel. It had no fear of humans. It used the four trees in front of our camper as its play yard. It especially frequented the one with the birdseed. At least I got exercise chasing it out of the seed. A nuthatch also found the seed today. It joined the cardinals, chickadees and titmice taking turns at the feeder. I watched a yellow bird flit back and forth but it wasn’t close enough to identify it. Wish I was familiar with the warblers’ song. My son will be a pall bearer for Peg which does not surprise me. Her son Jay (deceased) and Jamie are the same age. They were in school together for 13 years. Peg loved Jamie so much that she asked him to be her youngest daughter’s Godfather. So thankful for our gift of Faith. It has sustained us these last few months. Stay safe and treasure every day. Thanks for visiting. "A squirrel leaping from bough to bough, and making the wood but one wide tree for his pleasure, fills the eye not less than a lion, is beautiful self-sufficing, and stands then and there for nature!" - Ralph Waldo Emerson
