Thistle

The smoke is starting to blow to the east and our skies are clearing up a little.  I feel sorry for the people to the east, that is where many fires are.  I looked up the (Dinosaur) from yesterdays photo after another blipper found that it was a whale skeleton and yes it is 42' skeleton of a gray whale on permanent display on the wharf in Port Townsend that went up in July of this year.  Next time we are in town I will take a closer look. 

Pickleball this morning then a photo walk, birds are still pretty scarce so I went with the thistle just because I liked the late summer colors.
