You've come a long way, Baby

The Minx and I enjoyed an earlyish drive down to Kirkby Lonsdale from Markinch, this morning, before she returned to Salford via train, and I cracked on with the radio show and then a German lesson.

And as Dan was at home and Abi wasn't, he and I were at liberty to go for a curry.

I remember the uproar in Kirkby Lonsdale twenty-five years ago when news got out that an Indian restaurant was going to open in the town. Much like Brexit, no one was ambivalent. I was very much in the 'FOR' camp :-)

Now here we are, a generation later, with a Ukrainian flag in the town.
