See it?? the little white buoy??

I took this shot from a friend's balcony just down the road...we could see the lake today.


Air quality yesterday..650...today 425...much better.


No wind..good progress by the firefighters..and a special unit from Vancouver is now in to assess the damage and report to those who lost homes...no numbers to report...but so many power lines have been burned...this is going to take awhile to get people  back on their feet in those affected areas.


We are still on 'evacuation alert'...but the wind has really died down...if it wasn't for that severe wind...a lot of this would not have happened..


Extra: another neighbour is putting up a deer fence to prevent the 'deer gardeners' as CV Man describes them...out..


I just noticed that she put up this unique artwork on the new fence...near the road...interesting..
