Tuesday: Potted On

Yesterday’s bargain herbs potted on into larger ceramic pots with a nice mix of homemade compost and grit - they were all very wet and pots chock full of roots, should be a bit happier now :-))

Whilst I was searching through my little stock of empty pots I had a bit of a clean out as well - some of my empty pots are next to the heating oil tank, under the Bramley cooking apple tree. Lots of leaves and tiny apples have fallen into and around pots, most of the debris collected to add to my compost bins, also cleared the pathway down to the greenhouse, found lots of slugs and earthworms too, which will help make excellent compost for next year!

Cooked another panful of compote from Bramley apples, a few ripe damsons and the last of the frozen blackberries from last year - MrD had some with ice cream and gave it the thumbs up :-))

Had a relaxing afternoon and intend continuing relaxing until bedtime :-)) XXXX XXX XX
