Knight Rider!

Granddaughter Amelia's mum got tickets for us and them to go to Warwick Castle, Warwickshire (UK) for the day and we arrived there just after 10am.

We had a superb day in sunshine, even enjoying a picnic in the castle gardens in between play areas, shows, and touring the castle itself. It was one of those days where you take so many photo's it's difficult to know which one's to blip!  The main show, featuring the castle's history and The War of The Roses (1455 - the civil wars between The Houses of Lancaster and York for the English throne) was superb and so good we watched the morning and afternoon shows! The main blip photo' is of Queen Margaret of Anjou (wife of Henry V1) and the extras of Knight Riders and the castle house.

It was an excellent day made all the better by lovely summer weather and seeing granddaughter Amelia enjoying herself. We left near 5pm and within five minutes she was asleep!
