A hot sweaty bike ride!

Having been gone for six weeks, it was nice to get back to our home church this morning, where we were warmly welcomed back. We stayed afterwards for coffee and cake, cookies etc, then we attended Bible study class. So by the time we got home, and finished up a few left overs for lunch, it was almost mid afternoon before we got out for a cycle ride, and the temperature was well on its way to a high of about 90F, so it was a rather sweaty ride, and I soon felt exhausted, so I only got about 10.5 miles in today. We got back just in time to watch the “replay” of Wimbledon - Djokovic versus Alcaraz in the men’s final of the Western and Southern tournament up the road in Mason - only 3;sets this time, but still an epic match, with the first two sets settled by a tie break, and played in 90 degree heat with 45% humidity! Djokovic won it after fighting back from clearly suffering the effects of the heat in the second set.
