Juniper tree bark

We camped a couple of nights at Heron Lake (a reservoir) in northern New Mexico, and was intrigued by the patterns in bark. I still find them difficult to capture as I see them, and haven't time for any processing.
I'm stationary for a few days with an internet connection, so hoping to get up to date again.
