Marsh Mallow
Marsh Mallow is a scarce and declining coastal plant in the United Kingdom, but this specimen grows in a sheltered corner of our garden on the margin of a shallow pond. The original plant was located in another part of the garden, but that died out many years ago and this is its self-set offspring. Plants usually do so much better when they choose their own locations!
