Minnie!

Got my automatic car today...so happy that I'll be out and about more indepently now. :) 

I'd narrowed my choice down to two. This and a PURPLE Vauxhall Viva...himself (and my nephew!) was 100% sure I'd go purple and I did waiver for a little while. I have wanted a Mini (you know, when they were really mini!) since I can remember but always had to have diesel cars...then when I got to choose company cars, Minis were out of budget unless they already had about 80000 miles on the clock! 

I'm adding a few little 'me' flourishes but I love her already. Having never driven an automatic before (apart from the short weekend test drive) I did OK but was pleased there was a tonne of space to park when I went for a celebratory iced coffee! 

Reversing is weird but I never did quite get adept at that in a manual!
