Thursday: Domes

I can't, for the life of me, remember whether I have blipped this building before........well, if I have I don't think it was from this angle.  And don't be fooled by the blue skies.....about an hour before this was taken we had had the mother of all storms.........

The Irish President is currently in town so this evening I went to a reception in his honour. It was quite nice to go to a reception with a difference as it was preceded by a concert given by the excellent Donal Lunny probably one of Ireland's best musicians.  Back in the day, he used to play with Planxty.  He told me afterwards that he had been really nervous before peforming.....!

This is the headquarters of Croatian Railways, little to do with the narrative above, but opposite the hotel where the reception was held.

And the reason I am back blipping is because I stayed up far too late watching the final episode of 'Broadchurch'.........
