Summer school day two
This morning was given over to helping our learners progress. We were meant to be ringing a quarter peal for Richard, on the right, who has never rung the tenor behind to a method. The conductor decided to shorten the ringing and settle for 720 changes so that Richard could be sure of having accomplished something significant. I was glad that we did not ring the full 1,260 changes as my repetitive strain injury from yesterday was hurting again. I have declined thus afternoon's quarter in the hope that there will be an improvement by Sunday.
