Obscurity

There is less and less sky to watch as the trees continue to grow and grow. Honestly, nothing at all looks the same.
I can barely see any of the neighbors' houses, can't see cars and people until they reach the intersection, and the electric company replaced a few poles restringing wires in the craziest way: no longer simply from pole to house, some go from pole, but halfway to house take a right turn, cross the street and attach to a house over there. No wonder the skies of Montana were such a pleasure last June: vast stretches of plain old sky for as far as you could see.
