Scone Palace, Perthshire
I had a most enjoyable time this morning visiting Potfest, held in the beautiful gardens of Scone Palace, near Perth. The variety of pottery on show and for sale was amazing and I didn't even try to resist a couple of pieces I really liked!
It was also an opportunity for a most pleasant blipmeet with Freuchie and her friend, who had come a lot further than me to see the exhibition. I left before they did, so I don't know if they were also tempted by the lovely items we saw:-)
The photo is of the Palace from Moot Hill, the original site of the crowning of Kings of Scotland and there is even a replica of the famous Stone of Scone on it. The deer sculptures are beautifully made of wicker and you can just see the tents of the Potfest exhibitors at the edges of the picture.
Off to get things ready for our BBQ tonight, with the weather looking a bit unsettled, so it could be a bit of a gamble!
