North Yorkshire's Matterhorn

Roseberry Topping near Great Ayton from the car park of the garden centre my daughter works at. It isn't a mountain nor a volcano but it does stand out even sitting next to the North York Moors as it does.

As with the sunflowers the other day I could be forgiven letting my mind drift away to foreign parts with distant mountains, rolling fields and abandoned farm buildings. The heavy downpours of rain and the rainbow brings me sharply back to North Yorkshire... ;o)
