Awaiting a new arrival

Our first grandchild is expected in about 8 days time. The future grandma and aunt have been keeping busy knitting a blanket. 

I have used Brushstrokes to render this image, it reminds me of the nostalgic illustrations of activities found in the old ladybird books. I doubt many knit for new borns these days but I bet some of you do... ;o)
