I had my monthly appointment with Dr. Morales this morning and my numbers are looking really good.  I told her about how very dispiriting dealing with the discomfort of the chair has become and she said she would look into whether there might be a bed available at another clinic.  Apparently there are a few beds instead of chairs elsewhere; whether one would be near enough or at a good time, we'll have to see.  But I want to be hopeful.  She suggested I see my cardiologist about the waves of weakness, and I was able to get an appointment IN DECEMBER. 

The smoke has returned so I've not been spending much time outdoors, but I put my mask on and went down to the terrace to photograph this lovely gladiola.
