The Odeon

Not a cinema but a WW2 Naval range-finding tower built by forever labourers under the German occupation in 1943, now called the Odeon. The extra shows the view out towards France.

It has been restored and you can now go inside and there is info to tell you about how it was used and how the men were housed there etc.

Another lovely sunny day with blue skies. We had a delicious breakfast in a local cafe then a trip to the beach.
In the afternoon we all had a ride on a miniature railway t.hat has recently been restored by volunteers in a quarry area near the lighthouse.

Fish and chips overlooking the harbour for supper and then packing up ready for flying home tomorrow after a lovely holiday.
