New York
I'm applying for jobs. The brain is cranking into gear, but is Dutch cheese, mushy with holes. Something else to worry about.
Afternoon at the Moma. As the eternal student, Jack is an expert on New York for free. If you've got the time and little shame, it's possible to see all the big galleries and museums for almost nothing. Which really isn't quite right, but I'm assured there is a rational economic argument for it.
The Moma is full of old friends. Some beyond our average art appreciation, but plenty you know, or feel you know. Bizarrely you're allowed to take photos of the paintings. Van Gough's starry night is spectacular on a wall of its own, and surrounded by a throng with i-phones primed. Puppies by Cezanne. Fab.
