The Marina …..

….. ….. ….. alongside Lake Wakatipu, Frankton, Queenstown.
I went to the Marina today to see the painting that Spike Wademan has done of my photo of the Barn, on Glencoe Rd, up on the Crown Terrace. It’s beautiful - he’s so clever. It was fascinating seeing the Studio on the Marina, and the artwork displayed there, plus Sue’s textile artwork.

I’d not been to the Marina before, with its stunning backdrop of the Remarkable Mountains. It would be an amazing place to experience all of Queenstown’s changing weather! There’s a photo in Extras of the view of the Remarkables, from the back of a studio. There was more snow over night on the tops. The skiers will be delighted!
