Grebes are still Breeding …

… it seems. I was not expecting to see grebe chicks this morning or the beautiful long billed snipes (extras). So I was very happy to have gone down to the lake! It has been an enjoyable wet day, much to catch up on that I don’t get round to on fine weather days and so relaxing to be in the cool weather after our heat wave.
