Morning Has Broken …(yesterday’s was back blipped)

… with the promise of a fantastic day ahead after yesterday’s foggy walk up to the little hut at Anzeindaz. Everyone was in high spirits (extra) and Akemi and Mitsuo (extra) decided they wanted to do the Tour de l’Argentine, a very long, but beautiful, walk. It’s many years since I did it so I joined them while Sonya and Michel walked to the Col des Esserts before returning the way we had come yesterday with their dog. 
For Preston fans …
When I returned home Preston was missing, he hadn’t come back since this morning and it was 6pm. From his GPS we could see he was in the woods where the ground drops away steeply. To cut a long story short, he was stuck and so I went into full commando mode with wellies, long pants and shirt brandishing sécateurs, to try to get down to him. However he had been spooked by something and did not recognise this strange person so he ran deeper into the woods. Eventually he managed to get up to where I was calling him but he is really nervous tonight. So am I, the “honey man” saw a lynx on the field outside our house last night. I hope Preston was not trying to play with it today!
