Thornton viaduct
I spent yesterday and a lot of today having a good sort out of yarn. I’d been donated some that wasn’t really suitable for any of the goods we make for the hospitals and other charities so I have donated it on to someone I know will be able to make use of it. What she can’t use she will donate to Oxfam or scraptastic so it will all be used in one way or another.
I had to pull over en route to capture this wonderful viaduct built in 1878 and a absolute marvel of engineering at 270 metres long and 37metres high with 20 arches. Magnificent.
