I am So Clever

Ages ago I bought a pink jersey vest with a chiffon back. I love it and wear it constantly. I have looked everywhere for another one, with no success.

How hard could it be to make one I thought? I bought a pattern and made one from some printed cotton I had (which I am wearing right now) and it came out good. I bought some gothy-patterned jersey and made one with that which came out good too.

Then I bought some striped jersey and some chiffon and made this one in the image of my original one. It is by no means perfect but I am so pleased with it, it's not true.

Bias-cut edging! French seams! Curved hems! I'm so pleased with myself!
