Eventually

This robin has been the source of much blipirritation, having the knack of perching, posing, a couple of feet away on many occasions when I've not got the camera; waiting patiently while I get it, then flying off just before I can take anything.

This evening, however, he waited that bit longer. Not long enough to choose the right aperture mind, but it'll do.

Discovered at lunchtime that we've two mallard ducklings in the 'other' work pond. The moorhens were back to being well hidden again.

Decent weather when I got back from work, so spent a while in the garden, mainly pruning and weeding around the railway. Both green bins are now full - still got to last out until Thursday, so we might end up borrowing next door's one.
