Flufflings

As reported yesterday the moorhens in the pond have hatched moorlenlets! We'd been missing any flufflings since we had both mallard ducklings and cygnets last year (in this same pond).

There seems to be four offspring and, oddly, the parents seem less timid than they have been the rest of the year. Getting any shot of them at all previously has been difficult, and while this wasn't easy and involved a lot of waiting, it was at least possible.

Company provided lunch and cake(!) today - marking a combination of the company's birthday and a nominal re-opening of the refurbished office. Some of use were just celebrating not having had to move desks for a whole 10 days.
