Lytes Cary

This morning we took our visitors to Lytes Cary, the NT owned Tudor Manor House, on the way to Yeovil. It’s a small but interesting house with beautiful formal gardens and orchards, which we enjoyed wandering round.

From there we went on to Montacute House, another NT property on a rather grander scale.

By then the blue skies had disappeared and we got back to the car and headed for home just before torrential rain set in.

While we were doing that, Yeovil were managing a comfortable 2-0 home win against Tonbrige Angels.
