A beautiful book.
The Feast Day of St. Augustine. Bank Holiday Monday.
Monday is my washing day. I did the washing and then it was the sunny weather cycle so Paul put the washing line up, but just as I finished pegging it all on the washing line, it soon afterwards started to rain. So it needed drying in the drier. I find the whole weather pattern fascinating and thankfully includes a sufficiency of rain. It was cold and 15c.
Maria helped Paul complete another jigsaw with about 500 pieces. It was a lakeland scene. The round table the previous owners gave us, is ideal as a place in the conservatory to enjoy doing these puzzles.
Because I am still being less active due to the high blood pressure, Paul ironed his shirts and hoovered the top of the landing area. He washed up too.
Before the blood pressure crisis, I would do all the housework. Team work is now the order of our day. We avoid conflicts too and we find plenty to keep us busy, even if it is mundane and seated.
Maria returned to her place in Leeds.
It seems like a very quiet time after her visit.
She plans to visit America in September with a few of her friends.
It was a good Bank Holiday.
I have read this evening this helpful book about sharing the gospel to the ends of the Earth, written by the late evangelist Derek Prince. It is a straightforward biblical message and well written.
Take good care blip friends and I appreciate your following and kind comments.
