The Edge of the Wild

Foggy morning. Windy afternoon. A slow day for us: a short ride around the bay, a stroll, fried oysters for lunch, a nap. And a good long spell with Horse,  a compelling novel by Geraldine Brooks. We can see a sliver of the bay and the jumble of masts at the marina from our campsite. The wild turkeys came through the campground in the late afternoon, unbothered by human invaders.
