Got up reasonably early and made a cake for later to celebrate AJ’s belated birthday. Went to sewing group. The canal was really busy- lots of people out for a bank holiday walk or paddle board in the lovely sunshine. Got home and cleaned the kitchen and finished the cake. A, L,H and C arrived for our food bank meeting and stayed for a good while- we ate all the cake! Had the meeting outside so my new table and chairs were used for the first time. Cut the grass after they’d gone. Suddenly felt very hungry so made a very nice chicken pasta
