'Ice Rink' at The Food Festival

Yip, it's that time again!! Our 4th Cambridge Food Festival is tomorrow! Jeepers, what a week, everyone involved in this major annual event at our school is drained to the bone by tonight, and tomorrow is THE DAY! Then the adrenaline pushes the staff and the committee, comprising of a handful of really hardworking parents, that extra mile! By 17:00 tomorrow afternoon a;; of us will look back in awe, because I just know it's going to be even better than last year, which was a 300% improvement on the year before!

Charmaine and Ronnie and a few other staff members were on duty at the 'Ice Rink' tonight, we believe that this activity will turn out to be a major attraction tomorrow, and the decision was made to allow the high school students to try the rink out tonight already, sort of an appetizer for tomorrow. They were only allowed until 21:00, but believe me, Charmaine and Ronnie came home, frozen! Although our days are still very mild, the evenings are biting chilly!! Last year the day of the festival was bitterly cold, but this year we still have quite nice day temps and the first strong cold front is expected to touch us a bit on Sunday and really start biting us on Monday! Brrrr!
