Cambridge Food Festival #5

What a day! Last year was great and this year promise to be even better. We are really tired tonight, worked a 13 hour shift counting money, Charmaine and I are entrusted with that job every year. The handful of precious, precious parents, the staff and a number of really hardworking pupils worked so hard again this year, the success of this day is truly thanks to all the enthusiastic helpers for about the last 10 months! Believe me, this is a huge organisation!

The almost 100 exhibitors, a few thousand very satisfied visitors, loads of great and interesting food to eat, all worked well together to make the day unforgettable! Internationally acknowledged chefs held food demonstrations, a junior as well as senior master chef competition, Food 'Lympics, where they had a mopani worm eating competition as usual, but added a chili eating competition as well this year! There were lots of great activities to keep the kids busy, and a beer garden to keep the daddies busy, even a dance champions couple to give a breathtaking show.
