The River Dar in Spate

… on a very wet day looking from below the Col du Pillon. I have never been near this dramatic waterfall, must put it on my list! I had driven over the Col to Gstaad to deliver warm clothes for Pema to take back to Nepal. This year he has been given a lot of baby and children’s clothes from my yoga pupils which I hope will be of use. He and his friend come with empty bags and they take them back full! 

Can you believe the temperature has dropped to 12*C from 36*C two days ago? There is snow above 2200m! I hope it clears for our last summer visitors who arrive from Amsterdam on Saturday.
