All about preparation

This is my shopping I brought home today. 60 bottles of booze, crispies and mixers. I'm all prepared for the arrival of 10 friends who are coming to celebrate my 30th. However, I wasn't prepared in the slightest for my 'interview' at NoChintz earlier in the day. On email she said we'd go for a super informal 30 mins in a coffee shop. I dressed casually, and only at the last minute thought I'd take my laptop with an old portfolio in there, just in case. it ended up being a 60 minute discussion going through all my work! I wished I'd planned properly for it at least, then I could have tailored it more so, even though I don't think it was the ideal job for me, anyways...

So yeah, today was all about preparation. I've prepared properly for the fun, but not at all for the professional side of things, unfortunately... Story of my life.
