Wood on Wednesday

Another morning trip to Holly, Michigan. This is the porch of the Holly Hotel, in business since 1891. In June of 2022, the building had a major fire.

In rebuilding and restoring, the owners discovered that their building was overhanging the property line by 6 inches, but the owner of the antique store next door was ok with it.

But then the owner of the antique store sold his business, and the new owner was NOT ok with the 6 inch intrusion.

It is now into the court system. We shall see.
