Flower Friday

Soon (and very soon) the only flower color to be found in Michigan will be the chrysanthemums, or to me...mums. These beauties were seen at a local grocery store, where I stopped to get a few things for supper.

In some sad news this morning, at 4 a.m. our d-i-l Heather lost her father. He has been slipping away in the last couple of weeks, and was in Lisa's nursing home. Lisa went in to be with her, and I went over to our son's house so he could go to work. Heather now has lost both of her parents in the last 2 years. Always sad.
