Breaking Bad

Boys night in.

With Jenny's last day in her job signed & sealed, & after a celebratory vino or two at the pub with some of her colleagues to see her off, I met her down at the train station to see her off to London where she would be meeting up with a University friend for a night on the tiles. She was very happy & clearly the excitement of finishing today, a night out in the city & starting her new job on Monday were all kicking in.. & the wine had probably loosened her up too!

Monkey & me kicked back this evening. We've been getting into Breaking Bad lately. It's been a slow if not slightly disturbing start with Season One, but by the final episode, I was definitely interested. Now, having watched the first two episodes of Season Two, I'm well & truly hooked, but no less disturbed. It's exciting, it's off the wall, it really is quite mad. We also rustled up a Nigel Slater cross Lorraine Pascal chilli, tomato & prawn rice dish - nice! - & settled down on the sofa, with a cold one, to Star Trek: Insurrection.
