A day in the car, messing up my exercise stats for the month!
Dropped V’s birthday presents off and had a brief gossip then drove to S’s (with detour off the motorway at one point) to deliver her picture and have a chat, play with the kitten and have tea and a scone before on to DF’s house to drop her extra bag, and finally arrived at K’s 9 hours after leaving home.
She had L&E staying over and they’d been to Woburn Safari park today so were full of stories about the monkeys, tigers and ring tailed lemurs etc. We ordered a take out Chinese meal for supper and when we went to collect it found one of the little robots outside, setting off on a delivery. I can’t imagine these coping with cobbles and crowded pavements in Edinburgh!
Home, got the girls to bed after supper and then chatted, ate chocolate and watched TV. P still not out of hospital but I’ll visit tomorrow and try and find out what’s happening and see how he is.
